Mourinho to decline Brazil’s offer

Jo Jose Mourinho has been linked with the managerial vacancy within Brazil’s national team.

The Portuguese technician is being eyed by the Brazilian federation as Tite’s successor and was recently rumored to be closing in on a verbal agreement.

However, Corriere dello Sport reports that the Special One will turn down Brazil’s advances despite having been frequently contacted by Ronaldo over recent days. The footballing legend tried to convince Mourinho to accept Brazil’s proposal this coming summer.

The Roma boss, however, reiterated his willingness to continue coaching on a club level and will therefore turn down any incoming offers for international coaching duties.
